Our History
Heron Lawn & Pest Control was founded in March of 2002 by co-owners, Rodney Lackey, Joseph Patti, and Steve Okros. Starting with one vehicle and three owners doing all of the service, sales, and administrative work, Heron Lawn & Pest Control has experienced, and still are experiencing, very large increases due to great service and a large amount of current customer referrals.
In their previous employment, the three owners oversaw all of the operations of many employees in the pest control industry. Joe managed one of the largest pest control operations of its kind in the nation, while Rodney and Steve moved from roles as lawn technicians into branch managers, overseeing business operations. When the time came, their individual successes and 47 years of combined experience formed Heron Lawn & Pest Control.

We have also gained great recognition in Orange, Seminole, Lake, Volusia and Osceola counties by giving the best possible training to our technicians, and by using the best available products on the market with the environment in mind.
